A revitalizing burst of fresh mint leaves and great to sip in the Springtime sunshine.
As mint is a easy to grow herb and a staple in the spring garden…what better way to celebrate spring than to prepare some mint tea!
Step by step:
* Take a sprig of 10 + sprigs and crush in the bottom of a tea glass with a pestle or similar mashing weapon.
* This releases the lovely tastey flavour and herby aromas.
* Add a spoonful of suger and/or honey to taste.
* Sprinkle with hot water
= tea for 1
or add mint instead of coffee to a cafetiere and repeat as above
= tea for everyone
or follow the below for the Havana summer soaked cocktail MOJITO…enjoyed by Ernest Hemingway:
* Place 6-8 fresh mint leaves in the bottom of a tumbler glass and crushing device (pestle if you have one)
* Add one freshly squeezed lime juice to 2 parts RUM
* A sprinkling of sugar to taste and topped with sparkling water or tonic
= laid back drink to finish a hectic week
And even better served in some pretty Moroccan glasses, below are some i picked up on my Moroccan road trip last year!!!

Pretty Moroccan glasses that sit on my shelf in the office and look pretty and brighten up my space....vibrant colours of Morocco!
ENJOY….
